# Leave an organization

> Leave your current Chartcastr organization, understand admin restrictions on departure, and learn how to regain access if you need to return.

## Overview

If you no longer need access to an organization, you can choose to leave it.

<Warning>
  **Important**: If you are the last admin of an organization, you may not be able to leave until you promote another member to Admin or delete the organization.
</Warning>

## How to Leave

1. Go to [Manage → Organisation Profile](https://chartcastr.com/admin/manage/org/organization-general).
2. Scroll to the bottom and click **Leave Organisation**.
3. Confirm your choice in the dialog.

## Getting Back In

If you leave an organization and no one else has access to grant you entry, you may lose access permanently.

  To get back into an organization after leaving (if there are no other admins), you may have to contact **Chartcastr Support** to be manually re-added.
