# Setting up your agency

> Step-by-step: subscribe to the Agency plan, create client workspaces, and invite teammates.

This guide walks through getting your agency org and your first client workspace running.

## 1. Subscribe to the Agency plan

<Steps>
  <Step title="Sign up or sign in">
    Create your Chartcastr account at [chartcastr.com/sign-up](https://chartcastr.com/sign-up) (or sign in if you already have one). This first organization becomes your **parent agency org** — name it after your agency (e.g. "BigRock Reports").
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upgrade to Agency">
    From the sidebar, click **Upgrade** and pick the **Agency** plan. Billing is monthly or annual.

    If you don't see the Agency tier in the upgrade flow, [contact us](mailto:hi@chartcastr.com) — we'll provision it for your account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the upgrade">
    After checkout, the sidebar shows a new **Agency** group at the top with a link to **Agency home**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## 2. Create your first client workspace

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the agency dashboard">
    Click **Agency home** in the sidebar, or visit [/admin/agency](https://chartcastr.com/admin/agency).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a client workspace">
    Click **Create client**. Enter the client's name (e.g. "Acme Co.") and optionally a slug. The slug becomes the workspace's URL identifier (lowercase letters, numbers, dashes only).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Switch into the new workspace">
    You're automatically added to the new workspace as an admin. The sidebar now shows it as a quick-switch entry. Click to switch in — the dashboard, sources, connections, and destinations are now scoped to that client.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite your client (optional)">
    From the child workspace, open **Settings → Organization → Members** to invite the client's stakeholders. They'll see only their workspace.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## 3. Invite teammates to your agency

Open **Settings → Organization → Members** on the **parent agency org** (not a child workspace) to invite your fellow agency admins. Teammates added to the parent **don't** automatically get access to every client workspace — they request access per-workspace from the agency dashboard, which keeps your client audit trail clean.
