# Pulse summaries

> Chartcastr adds AI-generated summaries to scheduled chart deliveries, highlighting trends, anomalies, and key metric changes for your team.

## Overview

Pulse Summaries add intelligent commentary to your scheduled chart deliveries. Instead of just seeing the data, your team gets a concise summary of what the data means, highlighting key trends, anomalies, or performance metrics.

## How it Works

When Chartcastr generates a Pulse (a scheduled chart delivery):

1. **Data Analysis**: The AI analyzes the underlying data of your chart.
2. **Insight Generation**: It looks for trends, significant changes, or interesting data points.
3. **Delivery**: The summary is attached to the chart image when it's sent to Slack or Email.

## Availability

Pulse Summaries are available on **all paid plans** (Starter, Pro, and Enterprise). The Free plan is forwarder-only — it delivers your pulses without AI summaries.
