# Ando destination

> Connect Chartcastr to Ando to deliver automated charts and AI summaries to your Ando conversations on a schedule.

## Overview

Ando integration lets you automatically deliver charts, visualizations, and AI-powered analysis to your Ando channels and DMs. Connect once with an API key and pick the conversation that receives each pulse.

  **Replies and follow-up questions aren't supported yet.** Chartcastr posts the pulse and a threaded chart update, but replying in the Ando thread won't trigger an AI follow-up. We're working on it.

## Features

* **Channel & DM delivery**: Send pulses to any Ando conversation your API key has access to.
* **Threaded chart updates**: The chart, AI summary, and long-form analysis are grouped into a single thread per pulse.
* **AI analysis included**: Every pulse includes a short summary and highlights with the chart image; the long-form analysis posts as a threaded reply.
* **API key auth**: No OAuth handshake — paste a key and you're connected.
* **Scheduled reports**: Daily, weekly, or custom schedules.

## Setup

    Open Ando and go to **Settings → API keys**. Create or copy a key (starts with `ando_sk_`).

  <Step title="Add Ando as a destination">
    In Chartcastr, go to **Settings → Destinations** and click **Connect** next to Ando. Paste the API key.

  <Step title="Pick a conversation">
    Once connected, your Ando conversations appear in the destination picker when creating or editing a connection. Select the channel or DM where charts should be delivered.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a connection">
    Pair a data source (e.g., Google Sheets, HubSpot, Shopify) with your Ando destination and choose a schedule.
