# Custom email destination (early access)

> Send Chartcastr reports to any email address or distribution list outside your organization. Customize subject lines and recipient groups.

## Overview

Custom Email allows you to send pulse reports and chart notifications to any email address, not just your logged-in account email. This is perfect for:

* Distribution lists (e.g., [team@company.com](mailto:team@company.com))
* Executive stakeholders
* External partners or clients
* Team inboxes

<Note>
  This is **different** from the standard [Email](/integrations/destinations/email) destination, which sends to the primary email address associated with your logged-in account.

## Planned Features

* **Multiple Recipients**: Add multiple email addresses to receive the same pulse
* **Distribution Lists**: Send to group email addresses
* **Custom Formatting**: Tailor email content for different audiences
* **Scheduling**: Set different delivery times for different recipients

## How It Will Work

1. **Add Custom Email Destination**: Navigate to [Settings → Destinations](https://chartcastr.com/admin/settings) and add a custom email address.
2. **Configure Recipients**: Specify one or more email addresses to receive notifications.
3. **Assign to Connections**: Link the custom email destination to your connections.
4. **Automatic Delivery**: Pulses will be delivered to all configured recipients.
