# Tagging @chartcastr in Slack

> Tag @chartcastr in any Slack channel or pulse thread to ask follow-up questions, request deeper analysis, or get context-aware answers about your data.

You can interact with Chartcastr directly within your Slack channels by tagging `@chartcastr`.

## How it works

When you tag `@chartcastr` in a channel or thread where the bot is present, it will analyze the context of your request and reply inline.

### Thread Context

Chartcastr is context-aware. If you tag it within a thread attached to a Pulse notification, it knows *where* that pulse happened and the data associated with it. You can ask follow-up questions about the specific chart or summary in that thread.

### Inline Results

Replies are delivered inline, keeping the conversation focused and organized.
