# Meta Ads source

> Connect Facebook and Instagram Ads to Chartcastr for automated performance charts. Track spend, reach, engagement, and conversions over time.

## Overview

Use Meta Ads as a data source for Chartcastr. Connect your Meta Business account via OAuth and Chartcastr will pull ad performance metrics from Facebook and Instagram to generate charts delivered automatically to your destinations.

## Setup

  <Step title="Connect your Meta account">
    In Chartcastr, go to **Settings → Sources** and click **Connect** next to Meta Ads. You'll be redirected to Meta to authorize access.

  <Step title="Select an ad account">
    After connecting, choose which ad account to pull data from.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select a metric">
    Choose which performance metric to track. Each metric becomes its own source.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a connection">
    Pick a destination and delivery schedule, then optionally enable AI summaries.
  </Step>

## Available Metrics

Chartcastr supports **42 pre-built Meta Ads metrics** across six categories.
