# Typefully source

> Connect Typefully to Chartcastr for automated social media performance charts. Track post engagement, reach, follower growth, and publishing trends.

  **Typefully paid plan required** — Analytics metrics (engagement, impressions, top posts) require a paid Typefully subscription (Creator or higher). Chartcastr will connect on any Typefully plan, but chart data will only be available once analytics access is enabled on the Typefully side.

## Overview

Use Typefully as a data source for Chartcastr. Connect your Typefully account to turn post performance into scheduled charts covering engagement, impressions, and publishing cadence.

Chartcastr connects with read-only access to your Typefully analytics data.

## Setup

    In Chartcastr, create a new source and choose **Typefully**. Complete the OAuth flow to authorise access.

  <Step title="Select a metric">
    Choose the social metric you want to track. Each metric becomes its own source.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create a connection">
    Pick a destination, set your schedule, and optionally enable AI summaries.
  </Step>

## Available Metrics

Chartcastr supports **7 pre-built Typefully metrics** across engagement, reach, and posts.
