# Quickstart

> Set up your first Chartcastr connection in under five minutes. Connect a data source, choose a destination, and schedule your first automated pulse.

## 1. Sign In

Go to [chartcastr.com/admin](https://chartcastr.com/admin) and sign in with your Google account.

## 2. Add a Source

Go to [Sources](https://chartcastr.com/admin/sources) and connect your first data source. Pick an integration type — Google Sheets, Shopify, Chart URL, and more — then follow the prompts.

  Chartcastr only requests read-only access to your data. We never modify your sources.
</Info>

## 3. Create a Connection

Go to [Connections](https://chartcastr.com/admin/connections) → **New Connection**, then:

1. Select your source
2. Pick or add a destination (Slack channel or email) — you can connect Slack right here
3. Set a schedule (daily, weekly, or a custom cadence)
4. Optionally enable **AI Summary** for intelligent insights

  For private Slack channels, invite the bot first with `/invite @Chartcastr`.

## 4. Test It

Click **Send Test** to verify everything works, then enable the schedule.

  That's it! Your charts will now be delivered automatically on schedule.
