How it Works

When a Pulse is triggered, Chartcastr processes the underlying data through our AI analysis engine. If you have provided Context, the AI incorporates your business knowledge into these insights.

Small Summary

The Small Summary is designed for quick consumption. It highlights the most critical changes or data points in a concise format, usually appearing as the lead-in to a pulse message in Slack or Microsoft Teams.
  • Purpose: At-a-glance status updates.
  • Focus: Key metrics and immediate changes.

Overall Summary (within the thread)

Within the pulse thread, Chartcastr provides an Overall Summary. This is a more comprehensive breakdown of the data, providing context on trends and highlighting anomalies that might require attention.
  • Threaded analysis: Keeps the conversation focused on specific data events.
  • Context-aware: Integrates linked documents and notes to explain the “why” behind the numbers.

Getting Better Results

The accuracy and relevance of Pulse analysis improve as you provide more context.
  1. Link Context Documents: Add Google Docs, Notion pages, or Confluence spaces that describe your KPIs and business goals.
  2. Add User Notes: Provide specific instructions or background info for particular source groups.
  3. Refine Source Groups: Ensure your source groups are focused so the AI isn’t overwhelmed with irrelevant data points.
