Pulses are the heartbeat of Chartcastr. They represent the automated flow of data from your sources to your destinations, enriched with AI analysis.

The Data/Chart

When a pulse triggers, Chartcastr fetches the latest data from your connected source (e.g., Google Sheets, BigQuery). This data is then visualized according to your configuration, creating a snapshot of your key metrics at that specific moment in time.

AI Summaries

Available on > Starter plans only
Beyond just raw data, Chartcastr uses AI to analyze the trends and changes in your data. The AI generates a concise summary, highlighting significant movements, anomalies, or “business as usual” states, giving you immediate context without needing to deep-dive into the numbers.

Scheduling / Timing

You can schedule pulses to run at specific intervals (e.g., daily at 9:00 AM, weekly on Mondays).
Timing Best PracticeEnsure that your source data (e.g., your scheduled query in BigQuery or your spreadsheet update) refreshes well BEFORE the Chartcastr pulse is scheduled to kick off. This ensures your pulse always captures the freshest data.
