How Data Sources Work

  1. Authentication: Connect your account using OAuth or API keys
  2. Authorization: Grant Chartcastr permission to read your data
  3. Selection: Choose specific sheets, dashboards, or files to share
  4. Scheduling: Set up automatic fetching intervals
  5. Monitoring: Track fetch status and receive alerts if issues occur

  • Encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3
  • Stored securely with encryption at rest
  • Access-controlled per user and organization
  • Audited for compliance and security monitoring
Read-only access is requested by default to ensure your source data remains unchanged.
