Overview
Use Shopify as a data source for Chartcastr. Connect your store via OAuth and Chartcastr will pull revenue, order, and customer metrics to generate charts delivered automatically to your destinations. Chartcastr connects with read-only access to your Shopify store — no write permissions required.Setup
Connect your Shopify store
In Chartcastr, go to Sources and select Shopify. Click Connect and complete the OAuth flow. You will be asked to authorise read-only access to orders, customers, and analytics.
Select a metric
Choose which metric type you want to track. Each metric becomes its own pulse source. You can add multiple metrics to send different charts on different schedules.
Create a connection
Go to Connections → New Connection. Select your Shopify source, pick or add a destination (Slack channel or email), set the delivery frequency, and optionally enable AI summaries. Most teams send revenue and order metrics daily and customer metrics weekly.
Available Reports
Chartcastr supports all ~157 default reports that Shopify manages and maintains — the same reports available in your Shopify Analytics dashboard. These are curated and kept up to date by Shopify. Custom reports (build-your-own queries) are coming soon.View default reports
