Overview

Chartcastr uses your Google account to access data from Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs. Managing this connection is critical for the continued functioning of your pulses.

Connection Status

You can view your connected Google account in Admin → Manage → Connected Accounts.

Impact of Removal

Profound Impact: Removing or disconnecting your Google account will immediately break all pulses and connections that rely on Google-based data sources.
This includes:
  • Google Sheets connections: Any pulse fetching data from a sheet will fail.
  • Google Docs/Sheets Context: Any pulse using Google Drive files for External Context will lose that context, potentially degrading AI analysis quality.

Best Practices

  • Ensure the connected Google account has access to all the files you intend to use.
  • If you need to switch accounts, re-link your sources immediately to minimize downtime.
